W.J. Koczka

W.J. Koczka lives on an acreage at the edge of the Boreal Forest, outside of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. This is her first book. Wanita's forty years in Corrections management refined her non-fiction writing skills. Wanita was the primary caregiver for her elderly mother who she planned to spend more time with once she retired. However COVID-19 overtook the world and she was unable do so. Her mother, Mary died in May 2021 and while grieving and lost with out her mother, Wanita decided to write a memoir as a tribute to her mother and a life well-lived.
Like her mother, Wanita cherishes family time, Christmas and family celebrations. She is a results-oriented woman who takes pride in hard work and the value she adds to both her family and work life.
She continues to expand her craft by creating writing projects in other genres.
